Once I’d installed the base fedora 43 Workstation with Cosmic Desktop, I was super-chuffed with the whole experience, and how the overall install went. tl;dr - Everything is working seamlessly.
Here’s what I installed, and changed and why. This is as much a note for myself, as it is perhaps for you!
0.5) General config - non-oss codecs, and repos.
CLI apps: Eza (COPR repo), tldr (man sub), trash-cli, bat, spf (cli file manger), fish (shell).
rice apps: Starship (pretty command line).
Flatpaks: Discord, Proton Mail, Proton VPN, Proton Pass, Halloy, Signal, OpenOffice, Obsidian, ente Auth (2FA), Flatseal (flatpak permissions), chrome.
General apps: Kitty (terminal),
Apps I removed: LibreOffice & thunderbird client.
